An explosion has hit near the Russian embassy in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, killing at least four people and wounding 24 others, the country’s interior ministry said.
Sources told Al Jazeera that a suicide bomber targeted an Afghan vehicle, reportedly carrying government personnel, in the attack on Wednesday afternoon.
Another witness who works in the Afghanistan Ministry of Home Affairs told Al Jazeera that the suicide bomber rammed his motorbike on the government vehicle.
