One adult male was killed in a shooting in Clive Road near the Lansdowne train station on Tuesday morning. Traffic spokesperson Richard Coleman says Clive Road in Lansdowne has been closed at Hay Road towards Turfhall Road and at Hay Road at St Kilda Road.

Police officers are currently on the scene gathering information. According to reports, the suspects fled in a red Toyota. Police are investigating a murder case.

“Circumstances surrounding a shooting incident this morning at about 06:10 at Lansdowne Railway station, Clive Road, Crawford where an unidentified man was fatally wounded are under investigation,” SAPS Captain FC van Wyk.
