Joined the station:As a trustee in 1995 and started at the station as the financial manager in 2001.
Hobbies:Soccer (was a soccer player) and athletics.
Favourite dish:Roast.
Role models:His father Gasan Allie.
Likes:Everything that is good and the radio.
Dislikes:Everything that is bad.
Plans for future:Wants to see the radio station become self-sufficient and move into the TV field.

Joined the station:On the 1st October 1996 and is currently the Program Administration Manager. Started in admin doing complaints and O.B's etc.
Hobbies:Playing chess, reading, cooking, baking and computer games.

Warda Sampson's profile:
Marital Status:Is a journalist/producer hailing from the Boland. Born in the Strand 16th June, precisely a year after the historical Soweto uprising. Married to VOC production technician Ebrahim Sampson; they have a one-year-old daughter named after the prophet's wife, Ayesha.
Joined the station:In 1998 to do in-service-training as journalist.
Hobbies:Reading and spending time with family.
Favourite dish:Chicken in any form, except alive!
Role models:The Prophet(saw) because he is "the epitome of being a good Muslim" and Ex-President Nelson Mandela "for his humility".
Likes:
Dislikes:Bossy people who trample on others on their way up.
Plans for future:To produce, together with Roldah Lee (a fellow journalist at VOC), a documentary on the life of the late Achmat Davids. At the moment, her short-term goal is to drive around, "cruising in my very own baby Merc"
