Samier Slamang and Wayland Botha, the men accused of shooting dead 6-year-old Sadiqah Lippert, will be back in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
The duo are expected to apply for bail.
Lippert was shot in the stomach at her grandmother’s home in Hazendal on 2 May. She died after being admitted to Groote Schuur Hospital.
State prosecutor, Xolani Ntozini, last week told the court the shooting was related to gangs and drugs.
Lippert’s grandmother told journalists last week that Slamang and Botha often came to visit at their home in Kewtown.
