In a statement on Tuesday, police spokesperson Lieutenant Andre Traut said Okuhle Linganiso disappeared from his Kalkfontein home on Sunday.

Traut said police believe his biological father may have taken the boy, and they could be in the Langa informal settlement.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
