The United Ulama Council of South Africa has confirmed that the #Hilaal of Dhu al Hijjah 1437 has been sighted in many parts around South Africa.

It follows then that in South Africa, 1st Dhu al Hijjah 1437 corresponds to Saturday 3rd September 2016.
Consequently, the Day of Eid-ul-Adha shall be on Monday 12th September 2016.

We wish all Muslims the world over, blessed Dhu al Hijjah! May the Almighty accept our acts of sacrifice, pilgrimage and the devotions of the ten auspicious nights of Dhu al Hijjah.
