Ramadan is nearing and if you are in need of some spiritual upliftment, Islamic Relief will be hosting their annual Evening of Inspiration. This nasheed concert series is set to take place in Cape Town on Saturday 7 May from 19h30 until 21h00 at the Hugo Lambrecht Music Auditorium in Parow. The funds raised will go towards the organization’s ongoing development projects for orphans and vulnerable children.

Islamic Relief South Africa (IRSA) in association with the Ibn Sina institute of TIBB is hosting an evening of inspiration and has lined up amazing artists and inspirational speakers for the programme. Amongst these amazing artists are Zain Bhikha and Dawud Warns by Allie and they will be doing solo performances as well as duets.

Zain Bhikha is well associated with Islamic relief and is always chosen to perform at the event.

“I believe in Islamic Relief they are doing such amazing work,” Bhikha proudly stated.

Although the event is the third of its kind it seems as if all the stops were pulled out and this event promises to exceed all expectations.

“Yes it is about providing entertainment, inspiration and giving artists like myself an opportunity but also more importantly to raise funds for their work and raise awareness.” Bhikha humbly stated.

This concert series will be happening in three cities

Friday 6th May – Johannesburg
Saturday 7th May – Cape Town
Sunday 8th May – Durban
