Advocate Dali Mpofu on Thursday won an apology from Judge Neels Claassen for questioning his objectivity.
Economic Freedom Fighters’ national chairperson had to assure the judge that his submissions will be objective considering the fact that he will be dealing with matters involving his political head‚ Julius Malema.

Claassen said Mpofu approached him in the chambers and registered his unhappiness with his utterances.
Malema’s visit to Marikana in the North West to address the striking Lonmin miners before the shooting is said to have been among considerations taken into account by top police brass when the decision was taken to implement the bloody tactical operation that led to the killing of miners by the police at Marikana.
