MY Malaysian publishers, Fajr Symphony, hand over 1,000 ringet (R2,000) for the Al-Imdaad Foundation in Kuala Lumpur recently.

During my tour promoting the South East Asian production of “Notebooks from Makkah and Madinah” I gave a slide-show, including my latest images from flood-stricken Pakistan.

People were moved by the images, and Dr Yasin decided to make prints which he sold, part of the proceeds going towards Pakistan relief.

“I felt we had to do something, and the pictures were an ideal way of making just a little difference,” said Fajr Symphony’s Dr Yasin.
