Manenberg police are investigating a case of reckless driving and negligence after a 34-year-old man was hit by a taxi driver who jumped a red traffic light.

According to reports, irate residents who witnessed the incident set alight the minibus vehicle. None of the passengers were harmed in the incident. SAPS Spokesperson, Captain FC Van Wyk says the driver has not yet been arrested.

This as investigations continue.
