Qantas Airways says they will schedule flights to South Africa.

This comes as the Australian government is planning on reopening its borders in the coming months.

Earlier this year Qantas said the airline might only resume flights from April next year due to the lockdown restrictions.

The airline says they expect flights to resume to Johannesburg as early as January 5.
