The board of the embattled South African Airways, under the stewardship of Dudu Myeni will appear before Parliament’s Standing Committee on Finance on Tuesday.
SAA is expected to be questioned on its finances and the R5 billion guarantee that government has advanced the airline.
SAA is expected to face tough questions from MPs.
The national carrier’s 2014/2015 financial report revealed that irregular expenditure has more than doubled and there is an increase on fruitless and wasteful expenditure.
The report which was supposed to be tabled in September last year was only tabled last week.
Recently Parliament held a debate in which the opposition raised concerns over the running of the SAA under Myeni with some MPs calling for her re-appointment to be reversed.
