Police are investigating an incident in which six men were shot on the front lawn of a house in Cape Town’s Lavender Hill this weekend.
Spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk said on Monday that the men were shot and wounded outside a house in Chapel Street.
An unknown number of suspects fled the scene in a black VW Golf.
“No one has been arrested yet and the motive is unknown,” Van Wyk said.
Police would not say whether the incident was gang related, saying they were investigating all possibilities.
Paramedics said the injured were found lying on the front lawn of the house. They had been shot in their arms and legs.
Most had minor injuries, but one of the men had sustained moderate injuries, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said on Sunday. News24
