Police had to intervene in a scuffle between members of the ANC and EFF at the Tshwane University of Technology’s Soshanguve campus in Pretoria on Tuesday, Netwerk24 reported.

President Jacob Zuma arrived shortly after 13:00 on the campus.

A while later, members of the ANC and EFF started taunting each other.

A few ANC members then knocked one EFF member’s beret off his head, after which the two groups started fighting.

The police and security guards on campus was quickly on the scene to separate the two groups. Two EFF members were led off the campus.

More security guards and police officials monitored the situation.

After the incident, EFF members wanted to go listen to Zuma’s speech in a nearby hall but they were not allowed into the building.
