Sports Minister Tokozile Xasa says South Africans should support the fight for equal pay in sports.

She’s called on corporates to come on board and back Banyana Banyana financially.

Xasa was speaking at the team’s homecoming at the OR Tambo International Airport.

This comes after Banyana Banyana qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France 2019.

Banyana Banyana beat Mali 2-0 to book a spot in the World Cup.

The World Cup takes place in June next year.
