Two arrests in connection with the abduction of Anisa

Two people have been arrested in connection with the abduction of Anisa Ahmed Abdule Mohamud. The four-year-old was abducted last week Wednesday by “known friends”. She was last seen in Van Riebeeck Road, in Kuils River. SAPS spokesperson, Noloyiso Wexana, says the investigation is ongoing.

“An Abduction case was opened for investigation by Kuils River SAPS after a four-year-old Anisa Mohamud was abducted on November 1.

“Two suspects aged 26 and 36 years were arrested and appeared in the Magistrate Court yesterday [5 November 2017] and they remain in custody.”

Missing children SA’s Bianca Van Aswegen urges anyone with information that can assist in the investigation to contact SAPS Kuils River or Missing Persons SA.
