Police have confiscated abalone worth an estimated three million rand and arrested two suspects in the Airport industria in Bishop Lavis.
Police spokesperson, Andrè Traut says officers uncovered an abalone drying facility which contained wet and dried abalone and equipment.
Two vehicles were also confiscated.
The two suspected abalone poachers from Zimbabwe, aged 23 and 43, are expected to appear in the Bishop Lavis magistrate’s court once charged.
