VOC handover at Stephen Road primary

“Empower a child and invest in education”. That was the motto of this year’s VOC Makro Ottery Stationery Drive, which got underway at Stephen Road primary school in Lotus River on Wednesday morning.

VOC received stationery donations from the community, Makro Ottery, Muslim Hands and SANZAF have also come on board as sponsors.

Stationery items such as wax crayons, blue and black pens, colouring and basic pencils, erasers and sharpeners, rulers, glue sticks, scissors, pencil cases, copy paper, A4 exercise books, and sunblock were handed to each child.  More to follow.
