A woman was killed and two other passengers were injured in a fatal crash on Cape Town’s M5 on Thursday evening, with emergency workers only managing to finish clearing the scene early on Friday morning.

Western Cape traffic spokesperson Kenny Africa said the accident was just before midnight on Thursday on Klipfontein road.

”One woman died,” he said.

The scene was cleared just after 06:00. News24
