Q. What brought you to the Voice Of the Cape?

I was approached by the MJC to be a part of “forming” the radio station before its inception. This was because of my background in radio broadcasting with the SABC. It was an honour and privilege for me to have been a part of VOC since before its inception until today.

Q. What do you love most about radio?

I love that I am able to connect with the Community and share my passions with them. I also find it very rewarding that I am able to help people in some ways navigate their life challenges to a positive outcome.

Q. In five words, how would you sum up your show?

Informative, educational, uplifting, healing, and joyful.

Q. What is the one thing that you are excited about that’s coming up in 2018?

I get excited every year with the prospect of our Annual Fair. It gives our listeners the opportunity to interact with us on a face to face personal level and that can be very rewarding.

Q. What drives you?

I have a passion to extend love, mercy, softness and kindness to people.

Q. Are you a morning or a night person?

Night person

Q. Any pet peeves?

None. I love cats.

Q. Embarrassing moments on air?

Being in an afternoon program and greeting “good evening”. How silly is that.

Q. Where is the worst place you could get stuck?

In a lift.

Q. If you could talk to the President, what would you talk about?

Corruption that is sucking our country dry. Governmental mismanagement. And them getting away with it.

Q. If you could be in a movie, what character would you play?

A loving supportive mother.
