The Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon, which is held annually over the Easter weekend in Cape Town, is considered one of the world’s most beautiful marathons.  Participants can choose from various distances – the scenic 56km ultra marathon, the popular 21km half marathon, the 5km, or 2.5km fun runs.

Imtiyaaz Mohamed (31), who completed his fourth Two Oceans race and Mohamed Saleem Jaffer (29), who completed his seventh Two Oceans Race, described the race as enjoyable and explained that after running the race over the past few years the race appears to be easier and less strenuous on the joints. They further noted that the weather was perfect for the race, with cool breezes and light drizzle, the experience was “Refreshing”.

“The Two Oceans ‘gees’ is what makes the race awesome,” Jaffer concluded.
