Firefighters are working to contain a fire that broke out on Cape Town’s Signal Hill on Thursday, the city’s fire and rescue department said.
“We are dealing with a large vegetation fire,” spokesman Theo Layne said.
Earlier, a helicopter was used to water bomb the blaze. Firefighters on the ground were still working to contain the fire just before 1pm.
“No property is in immediate danger and no injuries have been reported.” SAPA
