Potential hujjaj from Cape Town who are eager to understand the preparations for this year’s haj will find valuable information at an annual roadshow organised by the South African Haj and Umrah Council (Sahuc). The information session will take place on Saturday 14 March 2015 at the Athlone Civic Centre from at 9h00 – 12h00.
The road show aims to inform the public on the logistics and protocol between South Africa and Saudi haj ministry. A number of Sahuc officials and other haj role-players will be present to discuss the services to the community, before and while on haj.
Program will include:
-Haj accreditation process
-Religious aspects of Hajj
-Haj logistical issues
-Haj packages displayed by travel fraternity
The road show will also afford community members the chance to interact with the regulator on key issues. Medical experts will be on hand to discuss the important medical requirements for all hujjaj.
Sahuc has said it will only release its accreditation list after the conclusion of the road shows around the country.
